Savaii Lagoon resort is a small, intimate resort, resulting in a feeling that the beach belongs to the guests only. Our on site managers, Sarah and Wayne, will do their utmost to ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Wayne, who qualified as a chef in Australia, has  introduced an exciting range of dishes which you will be keen to taste.  Produce is sourced locally as much as possible with the focus on serving fresh ingredients each day. 

From its inception, the owners of Savaii Lagoon installed a filtration and ultra violet treatment plant to ensure that all water for  guests is safe to drink directly from the tap.  This water is made available to the local village also and as a result there is no longer as much sickness among the young and the elderly.



Tripadvisor has awarded Savaii Lagoon Resort  the number one spot in the whole of Samoa and number 6 in the whole of the South Pacific for Travellers' Choice 2013 for Best Service.

Savaii Lagoon Beach

Savaii Lagoon beach is  sheltered by a lagoon where the crystal clear, warm waters are safe for swimming and snorkeling for all ages.  It is the ideal relaxation spot for couples and families. A Dive Charter (Padi) also operates from the lagoon from beginners to Masters.  In the evening, sip a cocktail or enjoy a local beer (vailima) at our beach bar and restaurant while you watch the sunsets for which this area is renowned.

The Resort has installed a UV filter to ensure that all water is safe to drink.
We make this water available at no charge to all the villagers and to anyone who wishes to use this water.
We are told that there is not as much sickness amongst the young and elderly as a result.
